Bed in a Box - 2019
A group of enthusiastic volunteers came to the Library to assemble our new project - Bed in a Box. Our hearts were broken when we saw sad little faces that had lost everything to domestic violence or poverty. The goal of this project is to make their new bed a safe and welcoming place.
The box includes a new pillow, a brand new set of sheets, a book and a stuffed toy. It was a community effort by the following:
The volunteers put together 30 Bed in a Boxes on April 4, 2019.

- the Rotary Club provided funds to buy the sheets and pillows,
- the Library bought the books,
- the Elks Club donated the stuffed animals and
- Coop provided the boxes and the plastic wrap.
